Profile: Remodeling

Arciform is a complete design, restore, and remodeling company that specializes in beautiful woodworking craftsmanship. We are especially proud of the exceptional custom cabinetry we build in our shop. We work very closely with the client to provide every service the client desires.

Woodworking

We have a wonderful custom workshop (Located south of our design offices on Interstate Avenue) that produces custom cabinetry, architectural details and anything that can be thought of by our designers and clients. We do our own installation of siding, exterior and interior trim-work and numerous other architectural details.

Framing

Our crew does the framing for all our projects. Our attention to detail assures that all elements of the project go smoothly and within budget.

Windows & Doors

We evaluate each window or door individually to determine if restoration or replacement is necessary. Your windows and doors will see new life and you will appreciate the new energy efficiency. We build traditional storm windows and beautiful screen doors.

Tile

Our craftsmen set tiles of all kinds. We pour custom shower basins for tiled shower stalls; install the very popular hexagon mosaic tile with all kinds of patterns and colors, glass tile, traditional subway tile and anything that you or our designer's imagination can create.

Electrical

From upgrading electrical services to tying into existing knob and tube, our electricians are extremely experienced in dealing with old homes and will ensure that all your new wiring is safely brought up to today's safety code requirements.

Plumbing

From replacing old galvanized pipes to replumbing an entire structure to today's codes, Arciform integrates modern materials to classically designed new fixtures, or we can restore an old fixture to your specifications.

Plaster

Arciform prefers to use traditional true plaster on the walls of old homes. The final product is a very hard surface, and we can match most of the textures that were popular during the first half of the last century. We can also tint the plaster to create a beautiful mottled color. Our plasterer is well versed in Venetian plaster and other highly specialized plastering techniques.

Roofing

We offer all roofing types imaginable from asphalt shingles to cedar shakes and copper tile.

Flooring

We work with materials that were popular during the time the house was built; tile, wood, cork and Linoleum. We masterfully refinish existing floors to as close as their original state as possible. We can also substitute more modern materials like bamboo or laminate flooring to make the floor more affordable or durable.

Countertops

We install stone counters, butcher block, tile, laminate, concrete or stainless steel and a variety of environmentally friendly materials for counters.
