This 1926 Tudor in Alameda was in excellent condition when Arciform first saw it.  But as in many older homes, there wasn’t a good place for the family to gather together and relax.  Finishing the basement was the perfect opportunity to create a fun environment for the family to share. The addition of bright new bathroom is also a nice convenience.

In addition to the basement, the kitchen wasn’t as family friendly as the clients would have liked.  Arciform created a much more open plan with a built-in table and custom work island.  A new mudroom storage area is a great place for the kid’s backpacks and jackets. 

Lastly, Arciform restored the client’s period bathroom to its original splendor.  Many of the fixtures were refinished to preserve the homes history wherever possible.
