This 1909 Victorian farmhouse in north Portland was barely large enough for its owner and his huge dog Phinney. In addition to the work done on the existing structure, and two-story addition was added gaining a large master bedroom, an adjacent bath, and a family room with fireplace. The tiny kitchen was significantly improved by moving the utilities and handy pass-through was added to the dining room. Materials chosen, such as the wide-plank pine floor create an earthy and natural environment for the client to enjoy. Click here to check out the whole house project
